Python Job: Test Engineer

Your Responsibilities

• You test web application releases on a day-to-day and project-by-project basis
• You develop and execute comprehensive testing plans for each project release
• You fully understand the relevant product requirements and execute exploratory testing
• You attend meetings and deliver updates on testing progress
• You assist stakeholders in keeping application specifications accurate and up to date
• You work with developers to improve automated testing where possible

Your Profile

• You bring at least three years of testing experience, including test planning and test execution
• You have at least a Bachelor’s degree
• You bring a certification from ISTQB, Foundation-level or higher, or other recognized software testing certification
• You have strong experience with ticket systems like JIRA
• You have demonstrated experience testing large web applications
• You bring knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues
• You have knowledge of how and where web applications fail - knowing how to break things!
• You have experience with security related problems in web applications
• You ideally bring experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)
• You optionally have previous experience in an Agile development environment, or other continuous delivery methodology
• You bring Knowledge in English (B2) and German (B2)
